The Summer Fruits are a Nottingham band writing and recording original songs mainly in the easy listening folk genre. Formed in 2020 when Alex and Peter met whilst studying at Nottingham Trent University on a degree course in Music Performance, their first single was titled 'It's Because'. Since then the group have been working to identify the genre that is the best fit for their songs and developing their distinctive acoustic sound.

Formed in 2020 when Alex and Peter met whilst studying at Nottingham Trent University on a degree course in Music Performance, their first single was titled 'It's Because'.
Since then the group have been working to identify the genre that is the best fit for their songs and developing their distinctive acoustic sound.
This has resulted in two singles, Imposter (Ukulele Version) and Coffee Song (Radio Edit) being played on BBC Introducing.
